Chloe sounds like a super-perceptive kid. Of course, she's been hanging out with parents who decided to eat better and ride more and perhaps that's rubbing off. (Ya think?)

Glad to hear things are going well -- BH

Wow... Chloe never ceases to amaze. You've done an admirable job of "deprogramming" her: TV screws kids up more than we even realize, and it's good to hear that she's fairly immune to the BS. I like Chloe's vision better too.. though I don't think we're gonna see more bicycle ads and people cooking and eating slow food because the marketing budgets for those things are pretty slim to begin with, and they certainly can't compete with the fast food conglomerate or car company marketing budgets. My solution? Turn off the TV, or just watch videos. Even better? Go for a ride... :)

I threw the TV out in the dumpster 16 months ago and we have regained family life. We watch movies on the monitor and there is conversation at dinner and the kids "play" and read real Books. We are thinking of how to relocate to find a place were we can also be car free.
Keep up the good work and let us hear from you more often.
