Getting cold outside, really cold. Still hanging to the way of The Food. Couple days back got hit with the WORST fucking pain in my mid-abdomen. Front, sides and back. Amy actually had to leave work to come home to be with me. Felt like the cat in Alien when the lil' baby Alien comes shredding through his chest/belly. So much pressure, I thought I was going split in half.
Amy's diagnosis was, Acute Gastritis. It was weird... a couple days before this when I was eating lunch I got the same exact pain all of sudden while eating lunch and had to stop and pace around for about 30 minutes and finally ended up finding relief on the Great White Throne. End O' Problem. But the next day it came back again while eating lunch. And this time it came on good. 12 hours later was still pacing, kneeling, walking, stretching, laying down, getting up... and then I started vomiting. Vomited for a couple hours on and off. Couldn't have been a food-thing because Amy and Chloe ate the same stuff.
No idea what it was/is. Hopefully Amy nailed it. She's satisfied it isn't something deep as no blood was involved.
Anyway, I've been eating like a bird and losing even more weight. Between 2 days ago and now I've had 3 spoonfuls of humus, 2 pitas and 4 Lifesavers. I can't eat much without hurting, or at least with fear of hurting. I am feeling a bit better though.
Amy has me on some chalky shit from the ICU and Prilosec. First time it happened was right after eating some spicy tomato sauce on flat bread and the other was after eating steamed veggies and tofu with black bean sauce. Neither of which I found overly spicy taste-wise but I guess my stomach and pipes differed in their opinion.
Like I said, I feel better but my lower and middle back are sore as a motherfucker. I DO NOT want this to happen again... closest thing I've ever had to it was a kidney stone and THAT [if you haven't had one] is beyond brutal.
All for now...
